For the 2024/25 season, My Epic Gear will be available at the following resorts across North America: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Whistler Blackcomb, Park City, Crested Butte, Heavenly, Northstar, Stowe Okemo, and Mount Snow.
When you reserve your gear, My Epic Gear offers you convenient daily slopeside pick-up and drop-off locations. Staying in-resort? You can choose to have some or all of your gear delivered to you in-resort. Explore the map below to view maps of each participating resort.

What is My Epic Gear and what does a My Epic Gear membership include?
My Epic Gear is a first of its kind gear membership program that is better than renting, and easier than owning. Membership gives you access to more than 60 of the most popular and latest ski and snowboard models available for all types of terrain, weather conditions, and skill levels, subject to availability. The membership also includes access to boots, helmets, and/or poles. Additionally, My Epic Gear memberships include your choice of in-resort gear delivery or daily slopeside pick-up and drop-off to get on the slopes faster.
Who can join My Epic Gear?
Memberships for the 2024/25 winter season are available to all guests ages 3 years and older who plan to visit one or more of our 12 participating North American resorts. Purchase of an Epic Pass or lift ticket is not required to join My Epic Gear.

When and where will My Epic Gear be available?
For the 2024/25 winter season, My Epic Gear Memberships can be used at any of the following 12 North American resorts:

How long is a My Epic Gear Membership valid for?
My Epic Gear Memberships are valid for the winter season for which they were purchased, ending at the close of the last participating resort for the current season. Memberships do not roll over to the next winter season and need to be renewed prior to making reservations for a future season.
How much does a My Epic Gear Membership cost?
There is a $50 USD one-time Membership Fee for the 2024/25 winter season. After you purchase a membership, you will only pay a daily use fee for each day of your Gear Reservation. See all pricing details here.
Who can purchase a My Epic Gear Membership?
Anyone over the age of 18 can purchase a My Epic Gear membership for themselves or on behalf of individuals that are household members. My Epic Gear Memberships for those ages 3 - 17 must be purchased by a household member who is 18 years or older. Children under the age of 3 are not eligible for 2024/25 My Epic Gear Membership.
Is My Epic Gear available for children?
Yes, child memberships are available for a one-time Membership Fee for the 2024/25 winter season for children ages 3-12. You will then pay a daily use fee for each day of their Gear Reservation. See all pricing details here.
My Epic Gear Memberships for anyone ages 3-17 must be purchased by a household member who is 18 years or older. My Epic Gear Memberships for the 2024/25 season are not available for children under 3 years old.
What is the difference between an adult membership and a child membership?
Adult memberships are for anyone age 13 and older at the time of purchase. Child memberships are available for anyone between ages 3 and 12 at the time of purchase.
The $50 USD one-time Membership Fee for the 2024/25 winter season is for both adults and children, but the daily use fee differs based on the age of the member at the time of making their Gear Reservation. See here for pricing details.
Do I need to have an Epic Pass or Lift Ticket to purchase a My Epic Gear Membership?
No, you do not need to have an Epic Pass or Lift Ticket to purchase a My Epic Gear Membership. However, My Epic Gear Memberships do not include lift access at our 12 participating resorts or any other resort.
Are My Epic Gear Memberships refundable?
No. My Epic Gear Membership Fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
How long does a My Epic Gear Membership last?
2024/25 My Epic Gear Memberships will last the duration of the 2024/25 winter season at the participating resorts.
How do I sign up for My Epic Gear?
My Epic Gear Memberships can be purchased directly on MyEpicGear.com or in the My Epic app, which is available for download in the App Store and Google Play.
When will I be charged for the purchase of a My Epic Gear Membership?
The $50 USD Membership Fee per member will be charged at the time of purchase to the credit card you provided during checkout. Memberships are non-cancellable, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
Can I share a My Epic Gear Membership with others?
No. The benefits of My Epic Gear Membership are solely for the use of the member that is enrolled in the 2024/25 My Epic Gear program and are not transferrable to any other person.
Who qualifies as a household member and what can they do?
Household members include any individual connected to your My Epic Account. Individuals 18 and older can purchase a My Epic Gear Membership, create a member profile, and/or make or modify a Gear Reservation on behalf of their household members ages 3 through 17.
You can add a traveler as a household member at the time of purchase for a My Epic Gear Membership. During checkout, select “Add Traveler” and enter the traveler’s details such as first name, last name, and date of birth. To save time on future purchases, check “Save traveler to your household” before proceeding.

What do I do after purchasing a My Epic Gear membership?
- Download the My Epic App - You will access, manage, and use your My Epic Gear Membership to make Gear Reservations all within the My Epic app on your mobile phone. Once you have purchased a My Epic Gear membership, download the My Epic app from the App Store or Google Play and create an account or log in with your existing My Epic account. Once logged in, navigate to the My Epic Gear member experience via the app home screen.
- Create Your Member Profile – Once in the My Epic Gear member experience of the My Epic app, complete your member profile with your unique measurements and preferences for personalized gear recommendations. Your member profile must be complete to make a gear reservation. Members ages 3 - 17 will need a household member age 18 or older to create a member profile on their behalf.
- Browse the Gear Room – Spend time exploring the Gear Room! Members will be able to make reservations for available inventory in advance of the 2024/25 season. Members will be notified once gear reservations are open.
Where can I access and how do I use my Membership?
Your My Epic Gear Membership will be accessed and managed entirely through the My Epic App via your mobile device. Download the My Epic App within the App Store and Google Play and log in to your My Epic Account to view your Membership, make new reservations, or see upcoming reservations.
How do I set up my member profile?
Member profiles are set up within the My Epic Gear section of the My Epic app and are required to be completed before reservations can be made. Once logged into the My Epic app, navigate to the My Epic Gear experience via the My Epic app home page. Upon landing on the My Epic Gear experience, you will see a section for your Member profile. Select “Complete your member profile” to provide your unique measurements and preferences for personalized gear recommendations. Members ages 3 - 17 will need a household member age 18 or older to create a member profile on their behalf.
Where do I make a Gear Reservation?
All Gear Reservations will be made in the My Epic app. Members must have a complete My Epic Gear member profile before making a reservation. Members ages 3 - 17 will need a household member age 18 or older to create all (or modify any) Gear Reservations on their behalf.
How much does a Gear Reservation cost?
Members will be charged a daily use fee for each day of their gear reservation, plus applicable taxes. This daily use fee includes boots and either skis and poles or a snowboard.
Members will also have the option to bring their own ski or snowboard boots and save, provided their boots pass a visual inspection at the start of each new reservation. All members can also opt to add a helmet to their Gear Reservation for an additional cost. See all pricing options and details here.
How do I select gear for my reservations?
My Epic Gear members can select gear – from up to 13 different leading brands and more than 60 of the most popular and latest ski and snowboard models – one of three ways for each Gear Reservation, all within the My Epic app.
- Sample Different Models - Try different models of skis and snowboards from the selection of 60+ models for each reservation, subject to inventory availability.
- Choose a Favorite for the Season – Have a model you love? You can select your favorite model at the start of the 2024/25 winter season. Favorite gear will be and available to you for each reservation as long as your reservation is made at least 7 days in advance of your visit. Members will not have the option to change their Favorite Gear selection after December 15, 2024.
- Let Us Recommend – If you aren’t sure what gear you want to reserve, our experts can recommend gear based on your unique measurements, style, skill level, and preferences.
How far in advance do I need to book my gear reservation?
- Gear: You can make a Gear Reservation to sample gear on any day during the 2024/25 winter season, subject to availability. If you make a Gear Reservation less than 2 calendar days in advance of your arrival, gear delivery will not be available and gear selection will be subject to limited gear availability. Gear will only be available for pick up at a Member Services Location for any reservations made less than 2 days in advance.
- Favorite Gear: Reservations for favorite gear must be made at least 7 calendar days before the first day of a member’s scheduled Gear Reservation. Favorite Gear reservations will be available to members who selected their Favorite Gear model for the 2024/25 winter season. Members will not have the option to select or change their Favorite Gear selection after December 15, 2024.
What if I need to cancel or change my Gear Reservation?
Gear Reservations may be canceled in the My Epic app up to 48 hours before 8:00 am local time on the first day of your Gear Reservation. For cancellations within 48 hours of the start of your Gear Reservation (a “Late Cancellation”), please call us at (970) 754-1000 (US) or toll-free at 1-800-200-9990 (CAN) before 8:00 am local time on the first day of your scheduled Gear Reservation. We cannot cancel Gear Reservations by email or in person.
For cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance of the first day of your Gear Reservation and your first Late Cancellation, we will refund your Daily Use Fees for the length of your Gear Reservation.
For subsequent Late Cancellations, we will retain a cancellation fee equal to the Daily Use Fees for the length of your Gear Reservation. To avoid cancellation fees, you may reschedule your Gear Reservation for a later date in the Membership Season. If you reschedule, your Gear Reservation will be subject to then-available inventory and time and method of Gear delivery or pick-up, which may be different from your original Gear Reservation.
If you do not show up to your Reservation, pick up your gear, or meet for your Gear drop-off, we will retain a cancellation fee equal to the Daily Use Fees for the length of your Gear Reservation.
For changes to your Gear Reservation, please refer to the My Epic app. For any changes you cannot make in the app, call us at (970) 754-1000 (US) or toll free at 1-800-200-9990 (CAN). All changes to your Gear Reservation are subject to availability.
What are the differences between Slopeside Pick-Up and Drop-off and Member Services Locations and where can I find these locations?
Daily Slopeside Pick-up and Drop-off locations are conveniently located on or near snow in close proximity to gondolas and chair lifts in most participating resort base areas, so you can grab your skis/poles or snowboard and get to the lift. You can choose to pick up and drop off your skis and poles or board at one of our designated slopeside My Epic Gear Locations when you reserve your gear.
Member Services Locations are dedicated indoor spaces in-resort for My Epic Gear member support services. These locations are identifiable by My Epic Gear signs and “Member Services” designations on doors and windows.

My Epic Gear members can select from over 60 of the latest premium ski and snowboard models from up to 13 leading brands throughout the 2024/25 winter season. Participating brands for the 2024/25 winter season and the latest gear models can be found in our Gear Room.
Members can also experience innovative boot and binding technology across both ski and snowboard. My Epic Gear offers the latest boot technology, featuring 3 of the top ski boot brands including BOA ® fit system on select K2 Boots and snowboard boots and bindings from top brands, including Burton Step On ® boots and bindings on select models. What gear is included in my membership?
My Epic Gear Memberships include use of skis with poles, snowboards, bindings, and boots. Members can also opt out of choosing our boots, if they prefer to use their own, and save on their daily use fee, provided their boots pass a visual inspection for gear compatibility at the start of each reservation. All members can opt to add a helmet for an additional cost. What is the My Epic Gear boot fitting process?
Boots and fit, including personalized insoles, will be recommended in the My Epic app based on foot measurements taken via 3D foot scanning powered by Volumental, ability level, and preferences provided by members in their My Epic Gear member profile and will be validated at time of fulfillment.
Members will have access to a variety of ski and snowboard boots, including a selection of K2 Alpine boots featuring BOA ® fit system technology.
Can I bring my own boots?
Yes, members are welcome to choose to use their own ski or snowboard boots and save on their daily use fee, provided their boots pass a visual inspection for gear compatibility at the start of each reservation. If their boots do not pass inspection, the member will be required to use My Epic Gear provided boots and will not receive the discount. See full pricing details here.
How many uses will gear in the My Epic Gear program have?
My Epic Gear will offer the latest equipment to its members, fully maintained and tuned. The majority of gear will be current year products, with select gear having minimal usage from the prior year.
Will the gear be tuned?
Yes. Gear will be fully tuned, so members will always have the opportunity to ski and ride on well-maintained gear.
